Interpretation Supposing Books Brilliant Nightmare (Ruby #1)

“Why can’t I call you 'žebro moje?' You always liked it, Ruby.”

“I used to like it,” I said slowly, knowing very well that I was about to hurt him so that he couldn’t hurt me ever again. “I used to like it, because the person who called me that loved me. You’re not that person.”

There were no instructions telling me what to do when you find the love of your previous life, but I knew I shouldn’t fall for him again. Not again!
Because he wasn’t Petr anymore and I wasn’t Lucie.

Judgment Out Of Books Brilliant Nightmare (Ruby #1)
This book had such potential! I liked the concept of the dreams and a past life being connected. I loved the story of the family in Czechoslovakia, and that it was so well written. Unfortunately, I just couldn't relate to Ruby. I found her character very irritating. She pines and whines over Troy when she has the amazing Adam at her side. Ugh. She was very Bella Swan-esque, and I did not like her. I also did not like the emphasis on teenage drinking, teenage "intimacy" (a lot of intimacy......it

I was incredibly excited to jump into this one. The premise seemed phenomenal, and the tagline on the cover "I waited for you for two years, and then I died" made me so happy I could burst. So yeah, I was excited to read this book. Then I sat down and started reading it, and I was honestly disappointed. This book was just not what I expected at all. I kept waiting for everything to come together, and for the big point of everything to shine through. I'm not exactly sure that ever happened. Sure,

Main character Ruby, is a high school senior, has dreams that seem to be from a previous lifetime. Ruby struggles with normal teenage situations, like boys and friends. Along with struggles she dreams of her friends a family connecting both in the awake world and sleeping time. From the start of Brilliant Nightmare I was hooked. For some reason I enjoy books about past lives. Not only did I enjoy Rubys dream world but was also attracted to her real life. Rubys relationship with Troy was

I highly recommend Brilliant Nightmare! I couldn't put it down, I needed to know how Ruby's story ended. It's well written and you will fall in love with the characters.
