This was a very interesting look at regaining the love you once had in your marriage based on biblical principles. It addressed infidelity, physical abuse, and other issues. It did not address verbal abuse, alcoholism, and the unwillingness of your spouse to forgive even as you forgive them. It seems to place the primary responsibility on the wronged spouse. I think it would be a good choice for couples to read in pre-marital counseling.
I dont normally read this type of books but I was intrigued by this one. My first marriage was on the brinks of divorce before my late husbands early departure from this world and now that I have started a new journey with a new spouse, Ive been eager to make sure this marriage doesnt lead down the same path. This book was extremely helpful. There were many parts of this book that I loved. I loved the principles and lessons learned to really help me see whats going on in my own marriage as well
Over the last two years, Ive witnessed a terrific rise in divorces here in the States and around the Western part of the globe. This is in spite of the fact that we have a lot of books on marriage selling all over the globe. Ive read a few of them, and all adopt the same old boring pattern.
