Interpretation As Books The Way It Is: A Treatise On Energetic Truth
Firstly, in the interests of clarification, someone in the comments has erroneously posted that I am the Author’s PR person. This was news to me, but thanks for the promotion! I do work with the Author as a web builder, I would also consider him a dear friend, but no opinion piece I’ve ever written about the author or his work has ever (and nor will it ever be) commissioned by him. It is written purely from a love of the subject matter and in the interests of sharing that appreciation with others. My opinions aren’t for hire, that’s not how I roll - and besides, you couldn’t fake this amount of love anyway, not even for a bajillion gold coins ; )So without further ado - A Review…
‘The Way It Is’ will likely challenge readers before they even open the cover. And if they are challenged by the title they won’t find the inner pages any less confronting. Academics in particular will find this work monumentally challenging. Why? Because this book presents that the heart is infinitely more intelligent than the brain. It presents that it is possible for ANY ONE of us, to deeply know ourselves and the world, by first deeply connecting to our inner-most aspect. True knowledge is wisdom and wisdom comes from within, not from studying myriad texts high and low and gathering as much information from outside yourself as possible in order to get letters behind your name, and also, and this has to be said, in order to avoid the deep hurt that keeps you from feeling deeply your heart, and its already all-knowing nature.
If you zoned out at ‘wisdom comes from within’ you can come back now – this is not New Age airy-fairy mysticism (no offence to all the Airy-Fairies intended) – increasingly this is provable science. In recent years scientists have come to know that the heart is not just a big ole’ muscle that merely pumps blood around the body. The heart cells are actually neural cells, the same as are found in the brain, in fact not only are they similar but they are actually instrumental in the development of brain cells. What is more, the emanation of the heart can be measured by an electrocardiogram reading at a distance of three feet from the body. The quality of this emanation affects everyone around you and even tangibly affects the brain development of a mother’s infant child (see the work of Joseph Chilton Pearce for more). So, true intelligence comes first from a brain that is in harmony with a heart. When I was at University my heart was a fortress and my brain was my Ivory tower, and the more locked up in my tower I became the more I was congratulated by my lecturers and my peers, and the less I was connected to my body and my heart. Again, not conceptually speaking – practically speaking – I didn’t listen to or love my body in PRACTICAL terms; I pulled all-nighters to get assignments done and then fed my body coffee when it was exhausted, or ate sugary treats or drank a wine in the evening for relief. All of this is pretty common you might say. Yes, very common, but loving and nurturing to the body and the heart it is not. And if the heart is the centre of intelligence, then it follows that I was making myself quite ignorant by my own behaviours. It is simple, poison the body and the blood and you compromise the quality and integrity of the thoughts you have --‘what you feed the body so too will be the integrity of your thoughts’ (SIB, Facebook status update ;) June 2012). Before you argue this, ask yourself why it is so difficult to change the unloving behaviours that you have towards your body. Why for example is a sugary treat called a ‘treat’ at all, why isn’t it called a little packet-of-poison? Because they would never be able to sell it at the supermarket counter, you say? Ah, but they would -- cigarettes are a testament to that. Every year new smokers take up smoking despite knowing it is poisonous. There is something very awry with a species who think they are intelligent but haven’t figured out the basics of self-care. How many people have truly reflected on the absurdity of this? What other species on the planet willfully neglects their physical body by eating food and ingesting substances that cause the onset of disease? Do cats do coffee, do ducks take diet-pills? Do bears drink beer? What makes people so un-natural to their own nature? Do chimpanzees get collagen injections? OK, not a great example, why would they need to with that naturally full pout I hear you say, but…you get my point.
This book explores a history of human nature that perhaps we have not been able to consider because we have for a long time relied on an intelligence that is not first founded on the simple cultivation of love in the body. One day we will realize that true love and true intelligence are interchangeable terms, but that day will only come when we allow ourselves to feel with our true brain rather than think with just that little brain in our head. We might also find that we know a lot more than we could have ever thought possible because this kind of intelligence doesn’t rely on recall and memory but on a vast knowing limited only by our ability to feel with our heart (read: super-intelligent ‘chest’ brain). This book is written by someone who, time and again, has demonstrated in action and in word the intelligence of the heart and so, from that knowing this book comes, and it is unlike any world history you will have ever read. And it’s true, the book makes some big claims to truth, but note this and note well, it is NOT asked of you to believe them, (and this is repeatedly reiterated) - you will know in the first few pages whether this book is for you or not. Do not read on if it is not for you. Respect your position. If it is too challenging or you just think its rubbish, that’s ok. Respect your position. The author certainly does. This is not a text that is written to convert anyone to the author’s claimed truth, or to garner followers (as it certainly won’t be palatable to the masses). It merely presents possibilities. Feel the possibilities for yourself…or not. Either way, you are awesome.
5 (gazillion ;-) stars from me.

This book has changed my view on life and how I live within it. I always had a sense that there was more to life and that I was missing something that was sitting right in front of my face and this book has named exactly what it was I was missing. I now know that the energetic quality and truth of everything comes first before anything else. I was not taught this anywhere else and in fact I was sold the complete opposite via the education system, that is, that what you do and how much knowledgeFrom the moment I first held this book in my hands I could feel it was different from any other book. My hands began to tingle and I was became aware that whatever we do in life there is first a body experience. What we do with that first feeling in our body is a choice thereafter. So to feel the book first then read that the book was bringing a truth about energetic awareness, I realised that a person has to want to be open to reading this book otherwise it will seem confusing. Are you ready
Reading this book the first time way back when it was released I devoured it - did I understand it? No it was challenging and confusing on many levels - in that, the way I was living was at odds to what was being presented - energetic integrity and responsibility - I had no sense of what this actually meant at the time. Reading until finished was a way of having 'done' the task at hand - I have read the book now what? A testimony to the fact that life is often defined by what we do rather than
I absolutely love this first book published by Serge Benhayon!I have read it three times as I had never read anything like it and the content revealed itself to me even more with each read. In fact you can read one paragraph again and again and feel deeper into it each time and discover more layers and revelations.I had tried to read philosophical literature before, but never made it past the first few pages as I just would get bored or my head would twist into a knot. But this book is
I found this book made so much sense to me, it made me far more aware of my responsibility in how I live my life on this earth. Through this book I came to understand what life is truly about and it has has answered so many questions that I had for the previous 50 years of my life. Life makes so much sense now and I have found myself so much more committed to living this life with the huge support that I received from my understanding.
I absolutely love this book, it just makes sense of everything and answers so many questions about life. A book I continue to go back to and read again and again, yes after year. If you ever wanted to know why we are here, what life is all about read this.
Is this a book? I found this on a friends shelf while staying at their house. I was interested because I am completing a PHD in Philosophy. The title intrigued me, as it is assertive, some may say dogmatic. It reminded me of those mis-titled Jehovah Witness books, the Truth!I won't go into the specific of the book because it is pointless, baseless circular reasoned pap based on Theosophy- which perhaps in the minds of a lay person ranks as a valid philosophy or science- but it widely reputed to
