I really enjoyed this book but I also didn't enjoy this book due to how they were constantly pulled a part. And I'm excited for the next book due to how this one ended.There is a murder CeeCee must investigate rather than get her week off like she was supposed to. 3.5 starsI have to admit for a good portion of the book I wanted the shifters to eat Cee Cee. I was disappointed to read in the beginning that Max and Cee Cee were back to distrust and non-communication. Cee Cee annoyed the heck out of me with her sitting on the fence when it came to her relationship with Max. It was probably only the last 40% of the book that worked for me. Cee Cee claimed her man and finally they made some progress. For books 1 and 2 it was one step forward and two steps back
The adventures continue. Cee cee and Max are destined to be together. As much as things tear them apart, then are able to mend the relationship, much like Max can mend his body when he needs to.
