Comment On Regarding Books Mrs. Jeffries Stands Corrected (Mrs. Jeffries #9)
I enjoyed seeing the household get their come-uppance as their beloved inspector shows himself to be more astute than they imagined. The mystery is satisfying and the reveal is cleverly handled.

I returned to one of my most favorite series feeling like I needed to go home and enjoy my family. I absolutely adore how the author makes us all privy to the "murder meetings" the household staff conducts in their endeavor to help their beloved inspector brilliantly solve another case. Reading from the start of the series is a must in my opinion so you can grow with the character relationships. To some, this series may seem a little formulaic, but that's what I like about it and have come to

3.5 stars. Another delightful Victorian mystery with Mrs. Jeffries. The characters are warm and funny.

I think this is my favorite that I've read in the series just because the Inspector is a bit frustrating, and we don't get the clues either, this time, and it's nice to see that Mrs. Jeffries made a mistake once, even if it was just because she didn't have all the information.

I have loved all of Emily Brightwell's Mrs. Jeffries stories. They are fun to read with warm, funny characters. These are feel good books. This one stands out a bit though. The plot takes a very different kind of turn. The ending is a wonderful surprise.

What a delightful whodunit this story was! Inspector Witherspoon really got one over on Mrs. Jeffries and her crew! I have to admit that I absolutely enjoy this series! It's the characters that keep me coming back :D.

Such a fun series
