Explanation In Favor Of Books Carry Her Heart (Words of the Heart #1)

“Maybe we live our lives constantly becoming and rebecoming. Maybe we’re always in the process of metamorphosing into something new.”

In her journal, writer Piper George notes the change of seasons. Each entry marks the passage of time since she became a teen mother and put her baby up for adoption. Her words flow together, painting a picture of loss, hope, and enduring love for the daughter she’s never forgotten. But one autumn, a new presence appears in its pages and in her life: her neighbor, Edward “Ned” Chesterfield.

As winter thaws to spring, Piper and Ned develop a friendship that could be something more…if only Piper would open her heart. But the loss of her daughter has irrevocably shaped her life. And having given so much of herself away, she’s not sure if she can give Ned all that he deserves. But with him at her side, Piper just might learn that a heart’s love is never truly lost.

Great book!I just love Pip and Ned. They seemed so real to me. It was like sitting on the porch or in the garden with them listening in on their life.

What A Love Story! What a love story! Not a love story in the traditional sense, but a story of a deep and abiding love. I would love to see a sequel because I'm not done with the characters in this book. I feel they have more to say. I want to see who Amanda really is. I want to see how she fits into the lives of Piper and Ned. I loved this book and would give it a solid 5 stars....more if I could do so.

Hope Holly you got me thinking that just maybe its okay to embrace some of the whats ifs .Thank you for making see that there is always someone out there who loves you just in t-shirt jeans/yoga pants . Because I firmly believe the man of my dreams has to love me at my basicsI was sad you dragged Ned asking Pip out so down the road :) . O for a minute I thought Jo would turn out to be Amanda . Ha Thank you for a good read .

As I was reading this book, I knew it was going to stay with me for a while, from the moment I started reading it, I knew I was going to have a hard time putting it down, I felt in love with the characters, as I kept reading it, I started to see them as friends, who I will cherish and keep close to my heart..This beautiful amazing story center around Piper, who in the tender age of 15 got pregnant and decide to give her baby girl for adoption, Pip, only hold her daughter for an hour, an hour

UncomfortableI didnt enjoy this book. I was uninterested and could not get into it. Long winded and unimportant to me.

Carry Her Heart is a very different kind of novel. It is a romance, but not in the most traditional form of boy meets girl and they fall in love. This is a story of a friendship that is forged by two neighbors in the wonderful Northwestern Pennsylvania city of Erie. Its women's fiction with heart. I have always had a special closeness with Erie, PA, because my brother lived there for many years, and we made at least one trip there a year to visit him. The author, is also from the city. I always

Read it in two days. Loved the story. The end brought tears (happy ones) to my eyes!
