Blurb:
***The Midway Novels are spin-offs of the Hidden Wings Series, but each book can be read as a standalone.***

Tucked away at an upscale, private boarding school in Brindle Hollow, Washington, seventeen-year-old Eden East comes face to face with a hideous creature on her walk back to her dorm. Shaken to her core, she's left questioning the world around her, and soon finds herself entering a friendship with a hot, new student named Alexander.

Little does she know, Alex is a Guardian Angel, sent from Midway to protect her from those dangerous creatures—known as Darkling—lurking in the forest outside Brindle Hall. It isn’t long before Alex learns this is no ordinary assignment. Eden’s existence holds a secret; something hidden from even herself.

Eden is thrust into a world where Fallen angels and creatures of the Underworld will stop at nothing to catch her. With Alex at her side and a little help from some of his old friends, they form a formidable front against the enemy.

Hopefully, it’s not too little, too late.

Loved it!!The Hidden Wings series was one of the first book series that I had read on my kindle. Was saddened to see it end. But, when I had heard that Cameo Renae was writing a spin off called " Midway" , I was ecstatic!! This is a trilogy, and I have a little rule with "series" amongst books. I won't start it til all the books are out. The Midway series is complete, and it delivered all I had hoped it would. Books 2 & 3 are waiting for me to devour.....Loved reading this book, being back

Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction BlogI like books about angels, fallen angels, Heaven and Hell. That being said I was really excited to review Guarding Eden. Its supposed to be a standalone, starting a spin off series of the Hidden Wing Series, but I felt a little lost without having read the Hidden Wing Series before. There were a lot of characters mentioned shortly who somehow influenced the male MC during his life, but without the background information I was a little confused by

Cameo Renae is a genius of the highest order, this girl can write, she sets the scene beautifully, with great detail to the surrounding areas, you can picture the scenes in your head like a movie and that is because Miss Renae has built it up properly, not left us with titbits here and there, it is a full on masterpiece, how this has not been picked up for TV, I don't know, The characters are not your basic characters, she has written them with great love, you can tell she poured her heart into

I was so excited when I heard this author was doing a spin off to The Hidden Wings series. I am a 100% #TeamKade, but I love getting to know all the other guardians, as well. And I can't wait who is going to be the next guardian in this series. When Alex graced us with his presence in this book, you really get to see him, for him. Even though he was a big character in The Hidden Wings series, this story is all his, well and of course Eden's. But wow, who know Alex could be such a heart throb???

Alex is sent to guard the beautiful Eden from a darkling attack and his mission is to figure out why but she might be in more trouble then they thought. Eden and her friends welcome Alex into their group and soon the adventure begins. When Alex finds out Eden's true identity, will he be able to protect her? With help from some friends, he might have a chance! Alex and Eden must not only fight for her life but also the attraction they feel for one another, guardians are not to get involved with

Cameo Renae has blown me away once again. She made my heart melt. Alex and Eden's connection is one you can't help but fall for. I loved being introduced to new characters as well as seeing some of the old characters from Hidden Wings. I really love the Hidden Wings Series and was so excited for this spin off. Cameo's writing is truly magical, she pulls her readers in straight from the start. Once you read the first page, you wont be able to put it down til the end, then youll be left with a
