Mike gayles writing is so effortless and enjoyable. It makes me truly happy. And closing this book I felt like I do when a watch a cracking British film like Bridget Jones or Notting Hill. A fun read.This was a really interesting read. Instead of the usual search for a romantic partner, Rob has a partner. The catch is that she lives miles away from him. He has a network of great mates in London and doesnt want to start again. However, he decides Ashley is worth it and he moves to Manchester. Like all of Mike Gayles books, this one gets a big fat 5 stars! I stayed up way too late reading this book because I just couldnt put it down, and when I was done I could hardly sleep because my heart was aching and I was still crying.I think this one hit home for me more than others because its a story about a guy who moves to another city to be with his girlfriend.
