Sixteen-year-old Silver Melody lives in a world where 80% of the population has modified their DNA. Known as the altereds, those people now possess enhancements like wings, tails, and increased strength or intelligence. Although Silver’s parents created the nanite pill used to deliver these genetic modifications, Silver is proud of her unadjusted state.

However, when the president declares all unadjusteds must take a nanite, Silver has no choice but to flee the city with her father and some friends to prevent the extinction of the unadjusteds.

With Silver’s mother in prison for treason, Silver’s father is the unadjusteds’ only hope at finding a cure. But time is running out as Silver’s father is captured by the president’s almost immortal army. Vicious hellhounds are on Silver’s trail, and her only chance to recover her father involves teaming up with a new group of unlikely friends before all humanity is lost.

The Unadjusters is a young adult dystopian novel.Silver Melody lives in a world where people are genetically altered with enhanced skills or abilities. Silver accepts her school acquaintances who might have wings or bulked muscles, or who have incredible speed. The modifications arrive via the ingestion of nanite pills, originally made to cure diseases like cancer until greed, power and money influenced the direction of their development. Set in a world where 80% of the population have modified their DNA using nanite pills, we meet 16 year old Silver Melody, who has chosen not to alter her DNA and is proud of her unadjusted state. Some have a physical effect to the person taking them, being able to toughen skin, add bulk, give the ability to fly; others can make the taker

Thank you so much Marisa Noelle for sending me a copy of this action-packed novel to review. I was excited from the moment I read the blurb and this story didn't disappoint for a moment. The (very believable) sci-fi elements of this dystopian narrative was superb. In a world where 'normal' means being enhanced to super-human levels, unadjusted Silver has a hard time fitting in. Her life gets even tougher when nefarious President Bear changes the laws about remaining unadjusted, sending Silver on

I acquired this novel on my own with only an urging from the author to read and review it. My opinions are mine and mine alone. I was so excited to get my hands on this book. Not so much because Im big on YA sci-fi, but because I read the authors first book The Shadow Keepers, and I really loved it. Shes an amazing talent, and I knew this book was going to be just as good. I wasnt wrong. This is a well-crafted story. The action is pretty good and there are numerous fighting scenes, which is

Marisa Noelle has a big imagination, and shes showing it to full effect in her new novel, THE UNADJUSTEDS. Theres plenty to love in this YA story and its hero, Silver Melody, a teen forced to grow up in a dystopian world full of people who have altered their genes for new strengths and special powers. Silver is one of the unadjusted ones, and she must fight with others of like mindsome adjusted and some notto stop the gruesomely altered President Bear before he puts an end to the unadjusteds

I love this book so much that my mind is in chaos. Looking forward for the next book. Book Review: The Unadjusteds by Marisa Noelle https://t.co/XMqXIda03M https://t.co/Sclhhq863d

The Unadjusted is a book about a teen girl living in a world where you can take a pill and it alters your DNA so that you essentially become superhuman. Her parents are the inventors of this miraculous science but she is very against it, especially now that taking too many of the altering pills can kill a person. Sadly not everyone thinks this is bad and the current president has just instated a law saying that everyone has to take one and be an adjusted human, splitting the population and
