Novel yang membahas idealisme. Keren. Benar2 bisa membuat masuk ke dalam cerita. Walaupun masalahnya sangat kompleks tapi penulis bisa bercerita secara efisien.

karya sendiri, kalau nggak dikasih bintang 4, namanya nggak menghargai diri sendiri, hehe. Tapi mau kasih bintang 5, kok nglunjak banget.Mau kasih 3, duh, kasihan deh gue.Yang jelas, masih banyak perbaikan yang harus saya lakukan.Akan saya jawab di karya-karya yang lain. kita bisa merasakan suasana jaman penjajahan dulu...latar yang dibangun penulis terasa kuat sayangana kadang dalam mensifati tokoh terasa janggal terus endingnya juga...terkesan gimana gitu kurang heppy ending....hiks..

De winst, sebuah pabrik gula era pra merdeka, diambil dari bahasa belanda yg artinya laba/profit. Hal yg 'diramalkan' ilmuwan dari Universiteit Leiden memang terjadi juga sekarang, bahwa Indonesia memang sudah merdeka tetapi sebenarnya terjajah para pemuja de winst.Afifah Afra nampak berpengetahuan dalam teori2 ekonomi dan tokoh2 pencetusnya. Ketika membaca bagian2 begini, saya lebih ke scanning aja :p abis ga ngerti je.Secara keseluruhan keren. Tp ada yg menurut saya terkesan di dramatisir,

Kalo ternyata Indonesia bisa jadi bangsa besar...namun dibodohin sama orang Belanda yang ternyata orang-orang Belanda itu BEGO semua......Belanda bego!!!!!!Afifah Afra agak nyebelin karena ada adegan perkosaan. Kok harus diperkosa gitu..... kan jadi ngebayangin pas bacanya....novel afifah pasti cinta antara pribumi sama cewek noni cantik....mirip trilogi Bulan Mati di Javasche Orange

novel sejarah ini dipinjamkan oleh ms. Anna.. "sdh lama dibeli tapi belum dibaca", katanya.klasik plus modern. pemikiran jawa kuno bertemu dengan pendidikan belanda maju, bercampur engan perjuangan menghadapi pengusaha londo penguasa pabrik gula De Wints.Pendidikan seberang lautan, penyamaran sang putri, perjuangan kaum proletar, sampai kehadiran none belande.. berbaur dalam ceritera berlatar kerajaan jawa dalam kondisi nusantara sebagai Hindia Belanda

suka dengan latar sejarah dan kejutan-kejutan dalam cerita :)
