Rendition In Favor Of Books Open Your Heart (Material Girls #1)

When an aspiring surgeon from a prestigious family loses her promising career, she locks up her emotions—and her heart. But a sexy musician from the wrong side of the tracks just might hold the key.

We are living in a material world…

Austin
I’m no hero.
But when I saw a wrecked, still-smoking SUV, I had to help.
I never thought I’d see the driver’s beautiful face again. Never wanted to after I found out she was from one of the wealthiest, most powerful families in the city.
I’d never be good enough for a woman like that.
But there she was six months later, in the second row at my show, dancing to the song I wrote about her.
Maybe fate is more powerful than money.

Liz
A car accident took away full use of my hand—which is difficult for anyone, and catastrophic for an aspiring surgeon.
The career my parents pushed me toward since I was a kid is over. I don’t know how to tell them—or where my life goes from here.
Then I met Austin, the brooding, sexy musician who stole my breath—and unlocked my heart.

We come from different worlds, and my family has made it very clear they don’t approve. I’m no material girl—I thought we could make it work. But I didn’t realize just how far my parents would go to keep us apart...

OPEN YOUR HEART is the first full-length novel in the Material Girls series, but can be read as a standalone. Happily Ever After guaranteed. No cliffhanger…though you may be lured into the next book of the series.

WonderfulVery good book. Hooked from page one. Great story between a rich girl and a struggling musician. Lots of twist and turns. Great love scenes. Explores a lot of drs, musicians and those who follow. Highly recommend this book. Loved it

Great book! I loved everything about it! I couldn't put it down! Get this book!

When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I can not wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Honest reviewHe is rockin roll, but not really a bad boy. She has family wealth, but isnt a snobby socialite. Her world is falling apart and by chance fate throws them in each others path a second time. His hard work is finally starting to pay off and hers is falling through her fingers making her feel like she might drowned. Can he help keep her afloat while guiding her to another path or will their families cause another Romeo and Juliet?

A great start to a new series. You have to love a series based on Madonna songs. I enjoyed this story of two people from different sides of the track coming together and breaking down the barriers. I will be happy to read the next book.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3.5 STARS!!!Open Your Heart was a good romance read. Elizabeth (Liz) comes from a very rich and prestigious family and Austin is the man from the wrong side of the tracks following his dream to be a Rockstar. Austin and Liz have a connection that's undeniable and their relationship is one they know will be hard but they can't deny the attraction they feel. I enjoyed the two of them together, although there were times I wanted to shake Liz and tell her to stop acting so childish. Their story was

Open Your Heart is a book that will have you hooked right from the very first page of this new series by Sophia Henry. You will meet Austin a man looking for that big break with his band Drowned World and who also is a hopeless romantic when it comes to finding that right woman, little does he know that one rainy night saving a woman on the side of the road might just be that woman. Elizabeth Commons is an aspiring surgeon, born into a rich family doing always what she feels is the right thing
