This book was mortifying and frankly, unbelievably horrific. I'm not going to say that I accept everything in here as fact, but there's a lot of evidence that Bryant presents that suggests that many of the events did in fact occur. Truly sad.Just like "The Franklin Cover Up" by John DeCamp this book is hard to put down. The tales they describe are horrific at best. They definitely will haunt you. Nonetheless, I feel every American should read both these books.When I first read about the Franklin issue on the internet I thought it was merely conspiracy theory. After reading "The Franklin Cover Up" and now this book, I'm convinced it's all true. There's enough evidence that can be corroborated and verified!!I guess I've been naive in
A really hard read, it's very well written, but the subject matter is truly disturbing. Without a background understanding in psychopathy, especially how they behave sexually, its difficult to grasp the seriousness of the subject matter.
Very hard to rate this book. I think it is so important this scandal and abuse of power is written about but it is very hard to read that these things actually happened and are probably still going on and being covered up by people we should be able to trust. The book itself is very long and very repetitive and at times very hard to follow.
This is an extremely well organized and surprisingly well written book, covering an enormous amount of research, and the author has given us massive amounts of further resources to investigate on our own (I, for one, will NOT be making use of these documents, affidavits, reports, etc., but there are over 100 of them reproduced in the book and 4 more pages of references by title). This book is a must read for all of America. I first learned of the scandal after watching a documentary on Netflix entitled "Who Took Johnny." The documentary fascinated me because I remember the Johnny Gosch case, even though I was a young person myself at the time of his abduction.
