How God Wants Us to Worship Him
An excellent book that makes a sound biblical case for the regulative principle of worship. Dr Morecraft spoke to this at a conference at Carolina PCA in March 2013. The two presentations are at www.carolinapca.org
The subject matter helped fill out my new understanding of the Regulative Principle of Worship, as described in the Westminster Confession of Faith, but Morecraft's writing was almost too detailed, it made for very slow reading. I also noticed the editing got sloppy in the second half of the book. Nonetheless the book showed how Sola Scriptura applies to corporate worship, and I feel much better equipped to recognize the ways I, and the greater Christian church, may blindly accept false methods

The worst thing about this book is that it does not live up to its title. In other words, it does not demonstrate HOW God wants us to worship Him. It just presents a case that HOWEVER we choose to worship Him, we must ultimately base its structure, content, and motives upon God's written revelation (i.e. Scripture).
Excellent little book, a must read! Dr. Joe Morecraft is arguably the greatest theologian/preacher in the last 40+ years!
