Criticism Regarding Books Book of Never: Volumes 1-3 (Book of Never Series #1-3)
I downloaded this series, book 1-5 as a set. So I've just gone from one book right to the next. I know it would be terrible if I didn't have all of the series available at once, as the stories end on serious cliffhangers each time. The books follow Never through his journey to find out his roots, and who his biological father was. Intriguing and juvenile, but I dig it.

What a fun fast pace story. I do enjoyed Never he could make even the bad guy laugh..

I can't say enough good things about the Never series. Each volume is complete in itself, but reveals just a little about Never's past and drives the overall narrative forward. While these three novellas are fast-paced, witty, and highly entertaining, what I really love is the way Ashley Capes doesn't bog the story down with long winded detailed descriptions of history and/or environment. It's all on the fly. You experience it in the almost the same way as Never does. This is rare in fantasy

Funny. Very clever. Surprising. A rollercoaster ride. I enjoyed it throughout! In search for his real name and a remedy against the curse that lies on his blood Never and his companions travel through many different and interesting landscapes. They meet nice and hostile people, fabulous animals and other mysterious beings. Many situations are dangerous and the friends have to fight. Sometimes I'm reminded of "The legend of Zelda" (adventure games) with the secret doors and passages. The stories

Ashley is a poet, novelist and teacher living in Australia. He teaches English, Media and Music Production, has played in a metal band, worked in an art gallery and slaved away at music retail. Aside from reading and writing, Ashley loves volleyball and Studio Ghibli and Magnum PI, easily one of the greatest television shows ever made.
