Great book with around 500 pages, all full of quality. Dawn of the Knight is a must read for any fan of high fantasy! You won't find any scenes describing a single tree for 600 words either. If it were humanly possible I would of probably read it in one day, that's how hooked you get. Egon has such a special personality, he can fill you with courage as you read. Dawn of the Knight I - Xeltian Invitation' is the action-packed tale of Egon who, along with his friends, embarks upon a perilous quest to defeat the Xeltian Knight. The first thing I noticed once I started reading this book was how vividly the characters were depicted. The introduction of each new character brought them to life instantly, and I very much enjoyed the interactions between the different characters. I have to say my favourite is the elf Aewulf as I found him pretty amusing
