Old fashioned in so many ways . . .

Things really start heating up when Belinda is asked to remove a mirror from her shop window. Only to have it come crashing down soon after and shattering in to pieces. Would it mean seven years of bad luck?

The moment Harrison walks in to the store and sets eyes on Belinda he is hooked. It was his lucky day. His decision is made. She would soon be his wife, the future Mrs. Scott.

Their romance blossoms from a friendship in to a meaningful relationship. After a business trip Harrison cannot wait to get home. But the strangest twist of words changes everything. On the very same day that Harrison proposes to Belinda.

Belinda is not about to apologize. She is old fashioned . . . in so many ways!

Notice Appertaining To Books Lost In Time

Although I made it through to the end of the book, I felt I was reading about puppets rather than real people as the characters were continually described as nodding and smiling in response to what was said. They sometimes roared with laughter but I didn't understand what was funny.

This book is a medley of literary fiction, contemporary romance, and a touch of classic. I say classic because it is so out of the ordinary. The story line is so different to what you normally read and it is not typical of anything I have read before. The story weaves itself so well that you cant help wondering what is going to happen next. Nothing is cut and dried. The twists are lovely! They really catch you by surprise. All round, a jolly good read! Leaving me with a feeling of happiness when

A Charming Romance! This is an exceptional story. The characters are delightfully real and quite enchanting. The story has its share of surprises to keep the reader guessing. It is an easy fun read. If you are anything like me you will feel compelled to finish it in one sitting. I highly recommend this superbly written book and will be looking for other titles by this author.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was truly sorry when this story came to an end. I could not put it down. Definitely not your typical read where you think you might know what is going to happen next. Which is rather refreshing. The dialogue throughout the book had been so well written that Belinda in her old fashioned (though not staid) ways, working in her antique shop, really came to life! I loved the little twist near the end which really caught one unawares. A well written book which I

The style of this author is so different that she almost sucks you in without realizing it. The dialogue is so refreshing and different. Easy to follow and it is so true to life. You can almost hear the characters talking in your head! The more I read, the characters became so real. As you follow Belinda life seems to throw her so many little curve balls. You dont even realize what is happening until you give it a little thought. The story flows so well that it takes you through the ups and

I thoroughly enjoyed the quick, short and very true to life dialogue which kept me reading from start to finish! This was a lovely relaxing read which I could not put down! The two main characters with their old fashioned charm won my heart over right from the beginning. Belinda was a delightful character. I could definitely relate to her. A very strong character indeed! I would not hesitate to recommend books written by the author Bridgitte Lesley. A super read!
