Criticism Regarding Books Stillwell
I read Stillwell: A Haunting on Long Island with my Shelfari horror group. It started off as a promising story. Paul Russo lost his wife to cancer. Feeling very sorry for himself and for his three children, Paul struggles to keep his head above water with daily life. Then the nightmares begin. And he isn't the only one having them-his son Jesse is too. These were the best parts of the book, in my mind, and I enjoyed the dream sequences a lot. However, they were not enough to elevate this story

~Haunted Mourning~Paul Russo, a successful Long Island realtor, has lost his wife to a brain tumor. The deceased Allison has left behind a loving, distraught husband and three young children. It has only been a week since Allison passed away, dying despite the expensive, holistic, experimental treatments that Paul sought, one after the other, grasping at new found hope from each. Finally, after Allison is just a shell of her former self, she holds up a hand. Allison has had enough. Paul must let

Pareidolia: a vague or random image is perceived as recognizableMichael Phillip Cash has a rich imagination, a gift that comes from being grounded and secure with life as being lived. That he is able from that strong stance to create stories such as STILLWELL embellishes his evident gifts as a writer. In his debut novel BROOD X he was able to create a terrifying tale out of things seen or magnify things seen to become ghastly distortions of credible possibilities. In his current exceptionally

I love Michael Phillip Cash's work, He builds stories around every day people, almost as if you are a voyeur into their everyday thoughts and lives. His characters are so achingly real they stay with you long after you finished his work . Stillwell is a haunting story about a family struggling with the loss of the lynchpin that holds them together. It's a family drama, spiced with terror, and mounting horror that makes you read with intensity and speed. I finished this book in one sitting and

This was a new author to me and I have had this book on my tbr for a long time, so I decided to read it after seeing so many good reviews of it.This was a very poignant haunting love story of a man that loses his wife to cancer and how he has to cope with life without her. Paul Russo and his children are trying to get their lives back on track after the death of his wife. Paul tries to get back into work as well as he owns a real estate business. An opportunity becomes available to sell a house

Wow I just read this book in about four hours. Never put it down. It is a compelling read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had never heard of this author. He was so nice he sent all of his published books and those of his Mothers when I told him I wanted to win the book and would read it and then donate it to the Library in Linden Iowa that my Mom helps out at. I think he sent me 12 or 13 books in all. He writes very well and this book wasn't something I woudl usally be ocmpelled to pick up

First and foremost, a large thank you to NetGalley, Michael Phillip Cash, Chelshire Inc., and the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) for providing me with a copy of this book, which allows me to provide you with this review.Cash provides readers with a wonderful novella, full of chills and action, while keeping the spirit phenomena from becoming too corny. Paul Russo is forced to pick up the pieces from his shattered life after his wife's death. With three children and piles of debt,
