Relation As Books Nineteen Cuts

My name is Thorn and I was dead once. My mind, my heart, and my spirit were as lifeless as a pond of bleach. So I carved into my slender wrists with a double-edged blade. Nineteen cuts in all, representing nineteen soul-destroying years I should have never been forced to endure. But I am proof that not even death can stop the bleeding.

I am very dead — purging every last drop of crimson fluid from my veins has that effect — but I am also still very alive. I'm just not...human anymore.

Suicide wasn't the end. It was just the little nap I took at the end of a shitty life. I got the luxury of waking up again. And that's when the fun began. The Freak Show. I was purged of the romantic delusion that death would heal me, because the beautiful and perverted Brehnn are coming for me. The cruel beings will gift me a nightmare only a diseased mind could fathom. And if they ever catch me, after they've had their fun, I won't be the guest at their dinner table. I'll be the entrée.

Critique About Books Nineteen Cuts
Imaginative and darkly addictive!Blank verse poetry meets gothic teenage angst driven fantasy in Nineteen Cuts. This book is a page turner and one heck of a fun ride. Written from the point-of-view of the story's heroine, Thorn, the book's romanticized, histrionic descriptions and insights put the reader smack dab inside the mind of a fatalistic nineteen-year-old girl...one who isn't quite a "girl" anymore. The author has created a wonderful, sexy and deadly new world for us to explore through

This is a brilliant poetic insight into the angst of a struggling young mind as she is dealing with becoming an adult, seeing and accepting the truth about her existence and choices in life as she moves forward. Darkness, metamorphosis pour from the words within the pages of this story. I find you get pulled in as you see how a person changes and goes through a rebirth from a tortured mind. This gives an incredibly, frank insight into the main characters struggle that the reader will feel so be

Nineteen Cuts is a thoughtfully written novel that captured me within the first page. The book is written in the perspective of a young woman named Thorn. The author uses very unique descriptions so we can feel, hear, and see everything through Thorn. I would feel love, longing, and adventure all within one chapter. If you enjoy Paranormal than I think you will enjoy Nineteen Cuts.

The book is great, it''s a little different than the genre than I read, the main character has a dark personality which makes me like reading the book. I like how the author does world-building. The minute I read the 1st page, I was hooked. I highly recommend this book to anyone who reads YA books.

This book is amazing. I loved loved loved it. Breaking my usual rules of reviewing at the end of a read, instead I reviewed as I read. The reason is this novel is so action packed that it would be easy to miss important events. The world building in this book is among some of the best I've ever read. The lead female character Thorn's world since she made the decision to take her own life is nothing short of pure hell. And the Author does an outstanding job of describing her horrific, lonelyThe book is great, it''s a little different than the genre than I read, the main character has a dark personality which makes me like reading the book.
