Explanation To Books Daughter of My Heart: Cela's Letters Home

I'm not a big reader of books that aren't self-improvement or tech manuals but this book was recommended to me and I decided to read it one afternoon when I had some time to kill. It pulled me in immediately as both a parent and a foster-dad. I read the book in one sitting and by the last page, I was in tears. I NEVER cry from reading a book. This story is a true love story, detailing the love between a parent and a child. I enjoyed it so much, I had to read it again. A must read for every parent and every parent's child.

Judgment Of Books Daughter of My Heart: Cela's Letters Home
This book tugged at my heart. It reminds me that we don't have to be born into a family to truly be a part of one.

I call myself a Desert Rat. I was born in a desert community, raised in various desert communities around the Southwest, and even though I attempted to escape the desert while in my early adult years, I simply traded a North American desert for a South American one.You would think that for a person who craves green and mild climates, I'd be able to find my way out of hot and arid communities.

It was a very tender book. The relationship between mothers and daughters is a special bond even when they are born form the heart and not from the body. Their journey is wonderful and sad. heart warming and heartbreaking. A must read.

I've just finished reading Daughter of My Heart: Cela's Letters Home, it's beautifully written and touches your heart with the memory of a beautiful girl, her life's journey and life lessons for all. I give this book 5 stars!!

I really liked the idea of the story ... the thing I liked less was that it was a bit too fantasy the relationship with Cela and how everything seemed to be so positive. For me it didn't feel like real life. But like I said, the story was very touching, the achievements Cela made with the bumps she met throughout her life. She found her roots, went to work abroad.I would still recommend the book.
